Google Ads Lead Form
The Google Ads Lead Form integration accepts Google’s native webhook payload and turns each real lead into an OpenContact contact—no Zapier or custom payload mapping required.
What you can do
- Receive new Google Ads lead form submissions in real time.
- Capture email plus first and last name, including forms that send a single full-name value.
- Run each lead through OpenContact verification, lists, sync rules, and outbound webhooks.
How to connect
- In Google Ads, open the lead form asset’s webhook configuration and choose a strong verification key.
- In OpenContact, go to Connections → Google Ads Lead Form, click Connect, and enter the same key.
- Go to Webhooks, find Inbound webhooks, and generate the Google Ads Lead Form URL.
- Copy the URL into the lead form’s webhook URL field in Google Ads. Enter the same verification key when Google asks for it.
- Use Google’s test action to validate delivery, then save the lead form.
Good to know
Google’s test-lead request validates the URL and key but is not stored as a real contact. Live payloads must contain Google’s EMAIL field. A mismatched google_key is rejected.
The generated URL contains an unguessable token and is shown once. If it is exposed, generate a new URL and update the lead form configuration.
