Integration guides

Step-by-step, copy-paste guides for connecting your app to OpenContact — sending contacts, reading data, and receiving signed webhooks.

  • No-code capture form — a form + one script tag, no backend.
  • Laravel — a slim client, capturing signups, and a verified webhook receiver.

More frameworks coming: Node.js / Express, Next.js, Python / Django, Ruby on Rails. Want one prioritized? Let us know.

The building blocks

Every integration uses some mix of three things:

  1. Send contacts in — POST to the contacts API with a project-scoped API key, or to a source ingest URL (no key needed, ideal for public forms).
  2. Read data out — GET contacts, lists, and the event stream.
  3. Receive events — subscribe a URL to outbound webhooks and verify the X-EmailRoute-Signature on each delivery.

The guides show all three end to end.
